About
hi! i’m lynneah
mom. writer. mental health advocate.

i build a life i don’t want to run away from. brick by boring brick.
i’m a mom, a writer, and someone who has rebuilt her life from the ground up more than once.
i started writing online in 2017 at Twins and Coffee, back when i was a brand new twin mom running on no sleep and a lot of survival mode. that space taught me how to be honest on the internet. it also became the place where i first started talking about mental health out loud.
the first ground zero
my first real rock bottom was in 2020. i was in a relationship that was not good for me or for my kids, and i finally reached the point where staying was scarier than leaving. so i left. i found a therapist who changed everything for me, and i started building a toolbox of things that actually helped, without knowing yet how much i would need them.
the one that broke me open
in 2023 i hit a deeper one. another breakup, drinking to numb out, barely holding on. i couldn’t move some days. couldn’t think straight. and in the stillness of that pain something shifted. i realized i wanted to live. not just survive. live.
that was the day i got sober. that was the real beginning.

the most recent one
at the end of 2025 i found myself in a bipolar mixed episode that lasted six months. i was spiraling. it was the worst i had felt since 2019. slowly, with a new therapist, a DBT group, a medication adjustment, and people who love me, i came back to life. one small thing at a time.
one day i looked in the mirror and thought, girl, get up.
that phrase came from one of my best friends. she says it to me when i need it most. now i’m passing it to you.
why this site exists
after that last episode, i knew i needed a real reset, not just in my life but in this work too. Twins and Coffee will always be where this started, but lynneahmarie.com is where i’m building from now. Girl Get Up, the guides, the real talk, all of it lives here.
i have lost over 100 pounds, stayed sober, and finally started doing the things my therapist had been telling me to do for years. somewhere along the way i found happiness. not the fluffy kind from self help books. real happiness, the kind where peace and disaster coexist.
what i believe
this isn’t a glow up brand. it isn’t hustle culture. it isn’t a 5am club. it’s for the people who feel like they can’t stand up today and need someone to tell them the truth instead of handing them a vision board. you don’t need a five year plan. you need to not give up on yourself today. that’s it.
SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE
every sunday i send a real, no-bs email about what is actually going on. life, mental health, rebuilding.
